Despite overwhelming scientific evidence of human effects on climate, little has been done to address the problem.

In our first lecture of the season, Jungian analyst and climate scientist Jeff Kiehl explores the psychological processes that have led to our split from the natural world, the global environmental consequences of this split, and how Jungian psychology can offer a way to reconnect.

Jung was deeply concerned over the loss of connection with Nature. He considered natural life to be the "nourishing soil of the soul". Our Fall lectures explore this loss of connection to Nature and what we can do to reconnect.
