Imagine a world at peace. Imagine no fear of nuclear weapons because they no longer exist. Imagine an event that planted a seed of hope which grew into fruition.

On Saturday August 5, 2017, the fifth annual ‘Floating Lantern Peace Ceremony’ will take place by the pool at Calgary’s Olympic Plaza. Everybody is invited. Hundreds of beautiful lanterns will be released as people think of their own loved ones and the hundreds of thousands affected by the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Lanterns available for rent.
