The Canadian Identity is about inclusion and celebrating diversity. However, recent research has established that there are disproportionate rates of violence of crime against Indigenous women and girls.

Is Canada a truly inclusive nation when there are communities that suffer more violence than others?
What we can we do to empower Indigenous women and promote equal opportunities for all?

Please join us for our 3rd round of “Global Goals in Calgary” Speaker Event focusing on Goal #10 – Reduce inequality within and among countries featuring Gabrielle Scrimshaw, a young professional, a global thought leader in indigenous leadership and a proud member of the Hatchet Lake First Nation.
