2017 Empty the Tanks: Calgary
Download to your calendar.
Macleod Trail And 86th Ave Se
Calgary, Alberta, CA
Posted by Empty The Tanks\.
It's almost time for the fifth annual Empty the Tanks Worldwide protest, and Calgary is involved once again to speak up against whale and dolphin captivity and the bloody slaughter of dolphins in Taiji, Japan! Buying a ticket to see a dolphin show pays for the slaughter. For every dolphin that is in captivity, hundreds of dolphins have been killed. We can end this.
This will be a PEACEFUL PROTEST!
Watch 'Blackfish' on Netflix to learn more about the dark side of captivity!
Watch 'The Cove' to learn what your ticket pays for! And Follow the Dolphin Project on Facebook!
LOCATION: Macleod Trail and 86th AVE SE, across from Save on Foods and in front of CO-OP.
Please be prepared for the weather, rain or shine! Hey, it's Calgary! Bring your own water and perhaps a packed lunch if you plan on staying the full 3 hours.
Myself (Jessie) and my friends will be making extra posters for those who can't make their own!
We are hoping to make this year's protest the biggest yet, so bring your friends and 'Share' this event!
Calgary doesn't have any whale or dolphin shows, but our voices STILL MATTER. Let's prove that!
Join us! We look forward to seeing you there!
